Walker Joins Council’s Executive Team As New Executive Assistant

Cierra Walker, previously the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC) global ethanol programs coordinator, has transitioned into a new role as the executive assistant, effective as of March 11, 2024.

Walker will provide assistance to the president and CEO and vice president. Additionally, she will coordinate and prepare materials for the Council’s Board of Directors and Board of Delegates meetings.

“Cierra has established a track record of cultivating relationships with USGC stakeholders, vendors and customers and has showcased her skills in organization, planning and time management,” said USGC President and CEO Ryan LeGrand. “Her strong communication skills will serve her well as she coordinates the activities of the executive department and Board of Directors. Her ever-positive outlook and can-do attitude is exactly what this position requires, and I look forward to having her on the executive team.”

Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Towson University. She will be stepping into the role following the departure of Courtney Coe.
