The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has increased its global representation with the addition of Nghia Tran as a local consultant based in Vietnam.
In this role, Tran will work under the leadership of current USGC representative Tran Trong Chien to focus on furthering the Council’s interest in this growing and dynamic market in Southeast Asia.
“Tran will provide much-needed support in Vietnam,” said Kevin Roepke, USGC regional director for South and Southeast Asia. “He will assist our efforts to reopen the market for U.S. distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and gain market share for U.S. corn.”
Prior to joining the Council, Tran worked for Sojitz Vietnam Company Ltd., with a focus in animal feed manufacturing and procurement of feed ingredients.
Tran earned a bachelor’s degree from Vietnam’s University of Commerce, majoring in international trade.
