The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) will be paperless for its 13th International Marketing Conference and 56th Annual Membership Meeting, scheduled for Sarasota, Florida, next month.

All meeting materials including agendas, minutes, background papers and financial reports will be available in electronic form, via the Guidebook meeting app or website.

Meeting participants will be able to access USGC meeting materials through smartphones, tablets or computers but will not receive paper copies of the meeting book or supplementary documents.

Confirmation emails sent by Council staff to meeting attendees next week will include instructions for downloading the materials formatted like the traditional meeting book or via the Guidebook app.

Through the Guidebook app, attendees can view the schedule, meeting agendas, speaker bios and headshots and hotel map as well as gain access the message center for immediate updates. 

From there or a direct link provided in the confirmation email, meeting-goers can download documents in PDF format to be saved to mobile devices, tablets and computers or printed.

The Council encourages all participants to access the materials in their preferred formats before leaving home to be fully prepared for the sessions. However, free wifi will be available at the meeting hotel for those needing to access the materials.
