USGC’s Annual Meeting Adds Hotel To Accommodate Attendees

To accommodate higher-than-expected registration by U.S. Grains Council stakeholders planning to attend its meeting in February, the Council has negotiated an additional room block at the nearby Aloft Sarasota hotel.

The host hotel for the 13th International Marketing Conference and 56th Annual Membership Meeting, the Hyatt Regency Sarasota, is sold out of rooms within the organization’s block.

Reservations at the Aloft can only be made by calling the hotel’s reservation department at (941) 870-0900 and identifying oneself as an attendee of the U.S. Grains Council meeting.

The Council has negotiated a room rate of $209 per night, single or double occupancy, plus taxes of 12 percent. Conference rates are available three days prior to and after the meeting dates, based on availability. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is noon.

As a member-led organization, the Council depends on its delegates’ commitment and participation and encourages stakeholders to make plans soon to attend the February meeting. Potential attendees are requested to register online and secure their hotel rooms as soon as possible.
