Throwback Photo Of The Week: Mexican Sorghum Trade Team Visits Nebraska

In 1999, a group of Mexican grain marketers, balanced feed producers and livestock farmers traveled to Nebraska to visit sorghum production areas to verify the quality of that year’s crop and ensure sorghum tannin levels were in line with their expectations. In this photo, Barbara Kliment, director of the Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board and Producers Association (far left), and Patricia Esqueda, former technician and now marketing specialist from the USGC office in Mexico (far right), accompanied the group on their trip, visiting fields and talking with sorghum producers.
