Members of the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC’s) staff and leadership will head to California next week for the 2018 Commodity Classic and discussions of happenings in key markets, hot trade policy issues and the Council\u2019s long-term efforts to develop markets, enable trade and improve lives.<\/p>\n
The Council will exhibit in the trade show in booth #1729, focusing outreach on how the Council\u2019s global presence plays an important role in long-term efforts to expand global markets for U.S. corn, sorghum, barley, ethanol, distiller\u2019s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and other co-products.<\/p>\n
Deb Keller, USGC chairman and farmer from Iowa, will represent the organizaton in the booth as well as Brian Healy, USGC manager of ethanol market development in the Washington, D.C. office, and Javier Chavez, USGC Mexico marketing specialist, in addition to other key members of the Council\u2019s staff and elected leadership.<\/p>\n
The Council is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and has full-time presence in 13 key markets and representatives in an additional 15 locations, operating programs to build demand in more than 50 countries and the European Union.<\/p>\n
