Please join the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) in welcoming the newest member of its Washington-based staff, Carley Esser, as global strategies coordinator.<\/p>\n

In this role, Esser will support the Council’s global strategies and trade policy and biotechnology departments in their market engagement and support of the Council\u2019s overseas offices.<\/p>\n

\u201cCarley\u2019s passion for agriculture is apparent to everyone who speaks with her,\u201d said Floyd Gaibler, USGC director of trade policy. \u201cShe will make an excellent ambassador for U.S. farmers here in D.C. and with their international customers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to the Council, Esser gained experience working as an outreach coordinator with Missouri Farmers Care\/MFA Inc., where she served as\u00a0an agricultural speaker, created weekly press releases and traveled the state of Missouri to discuss programs with county commissioners. Esser previously worked as a public affairs intern with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).<\/p>\n

Esser attended the University of Missouri and earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in agricultural education with minors in international agriculture, agricultural economics and psychology.<\/p>\n
