Registration is open for the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) 57th Annual Board of Delegates meeting, scheduled for Vancouver, Washington, from July 31 to Aug. 2. 
<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur program at this meeting will help you learn about the critical issues impacting our ability to increase export markets and respond to growing demand for U.S. coarse grains and co-products,\u201d said Chip Councell, USGC chairman and farmer from Maryland, in a letter inviting delegates to the meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will take a deep dive into several current hot topics \u2013 ethanol exports, China\u2019s growing influence on the markets and growing opportunities in existing markets like Mexico and future markets in Frontier Asia. We will also go back to basics and review some of the fundamental arguments for trade.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Council\u2019s Advisory Teams (A-teams) will also meet to review USGC\u2019s progress toward the implementation of the 2017 Unified Export Strategy (UES). During a business meeting at the conference, USGC delegates will adopt next year\u2019s budget and elect new officers and board members. <\/p>\n
