Journalist and businessman Ron Insana will discuss trade’s impact on current U.S. policy and politics and highlight the importance of a positive trade environment during the U.S. Grain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Council\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (USGC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s) 56th<\/sup> Annual Board of Delegates Meeting<\/a>, which is set to be held in Louisville, Kentucky, from July 25 to 27.<\/p>\n

During the event, attendees will hear Insana\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s insights into the current election cycle’s treatment of trade and the importance of trade to the United States, including the recently concluded Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations.<\/p>\n

With more than 30 years of experience in both journalism and in the business world, Insana has a wealth of experience in the public trade conversation. Currently, he hosts The Market Scoreboard Report<\/em>, contributes to MSNBC and CNBC and writes for Money<\/em> magazine and USA Today<\/em>, in which he introduces and examines economic and market-based issues.<\/p>\n

He has gained global notoriety for his in-depth interviews of important economic and political figures, such as former President Bill Clinton and investor Warren Buffet. Additionally, Insana has gained valuable experience through his career as CEO of Insana Capital Partners from 2006 to 2008, which managed $125 million at its peak.<\/p>\n
