During the Council\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <a href=\"http:\/\/USGC.informz.net\/z\/cjUucD9taT01MzY2MjI5JnA9MSZ1PTEwNjIwMjQxMTYmbGk9MzM0OTUxOTQ\/index.html\" target=\"_self\">13th International Marketing Conference and 56th Annual Membership Meeting<\/a>, these producers were honored for their five years of service.<!--break--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s an inherent advantage to having such a group work with the Council,\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd Sy said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153With a big group you can always find someone who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s willing to give time.\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd<\/p>\n<p> He said Illinois\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 commitment is driven by the importance of what the Council does for exports.<\/p>\n<p> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shape id=\"_x0000_s1027\" type=\"#_x0000_t75\" alt=\"\"\n style='position:absolute;margin-left:0;margin-top:0;width:117.6pt;height:120pt;\n z-index:251664384;mso-wrap-distance-left:0;mso-wrap-distance-top:0;\n mso-wrap-distance-right:0;mso-wrap-distance-bottom:0;\n mso-position-horizontal:left;mso-position-horizontal-relative:text;\n mso-position-vertical-relative:line' o:allowoverlap=\"f\">\n <v:imagedata src=\"http:\/\/www.informz.net\/USGC\/data\/images\/Global%20Update\/2016\/February\/Feb.%2018\/Mueller.jpg\"><\/v:imagedata>\n <w:wrap type=\"square\"><\/w:wrap>\n<\/v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.informz.net\/USGC\/data\/images\/Global%20Update\/2016\/February\/Feb.%2018\/Mueller.jpg\" align=\"left\" width=\"196\" height=\"200\" border=\"0\"><!--[endif]-->We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re a world-wide market now,\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd Sy said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Where our grain goes makes a huge difference. It affects every one of us as producers.\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd<\/p>\n<p> Just back from visiting the Panama Canal, Mueller has a similar perspective.<\/p>\n<p> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153What impresses me is the amount of effort that goes into developing our foreign markets,\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd he said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153A lot of people in this country don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t realize the number of people we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re dealing with around the world.\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd<\/p>\n<p> Right now, Mueller sees distiller\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) promotion as the Council\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s biggest opportunity. <br \/> <!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shape id=\"_x0000_s1028\" type=\"#_x0000_t75\" alt=\"\"\n style='position:absolute;margin-left:66.4pt;margin-top:0;width:117.6pt;\n height:120pt;z-index:251665408;mso-wrap-distance-left:0;\n mso-wrap-distance-top:0;mso-wrap-distance-right:0;mso-wrap-distance-bottom:0;\n mso-position-horizontal:right;mso-position-horizontal-relative:text;\n mso-position-vertical-relative:line' o:allowoverlap=\"f\">\n <v:imagedata src=\"http:\/\/www.informz.net\/USGC\/data\/images\/Global%20Update\/2016\/February\/Feb.%2018\/Lamoreaux.jpg\"><\/v:imagedata>\n <w:wrap type=\"square\"><\/w:wrap>\n<\/v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.informz.net\/USGC\/data\/images\/Global%20Update\/2016\/February\/Feb.%2018\/Lamoreaux.jpg\" align=\"right\" width=\"196\" height=\"200\" border=\"0\"><!--[endif]--><br \/> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153A lot of countries would like to purchase DDGS.
