During the U.S. Grains Council’s upcoming annual meeting in Ottawa, Canada, The Grains Foundation will host a fundraising auction to support its many successful programs around the world. The Foundation, which supports educational and charitable initiatives to enhance public understanding of the value of international agricultural trade, recently hosted its most well-known activity, the 2013 International Collegiate Leadership Program, an annual international learning mission for student leaders in agriculture.

Throughout the course of the Council’s annual meeting, Foundation auction items will be displayed for silent auction. During the final night event, Tuesday, a few of the items will be auctioned live by USGC Chairman Don Fast. See a list below for item details. All auction items were donated through the generosity of Council members.

The silent auction will open Sunday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. and will close Tuesday, July 30 at 2:00 p.m. The winners will be announced at the Tuesday evening offsite event before the live auction takes place.
