The U.S. Grains Council recently-concluded its 16th Annual China Corn Harvest Tour. China is the second largest corn producer in the world – and the country has recently emerged as a corn importer – a fact which the Council says emphasizes China’s role as a key factor in corn pricing, supply and demand across the world.<\/p>\n
USGC President and CEO Tom Sleight says this year’s tour consisted of two surveys in the North China Plains and Northeast China.<\/p>\n
