Our world is getting smaller and our markets are getting bigger,\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd said Don Fast, chairman of the U.S. Grains Council, at the 52nd Annual Board of Delegates Meeting in Vancouver, Wash.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the reality we face, and that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve chosen \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcSmaller World, Bigger Markets,\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 as the theme for the coming year,\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd said Fast, a farmer from Montana.<\/p>\n

While the coming year will be challenging, as hopes of record U.S. crops have been dashed by the weather, the strategic mission of the Council has not changed.<\/p>\n
