More than 200 registered attendees for the U.S. Grains Council\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 52nd Annual Board of Delegates Meeting will hear leading expert Mark Zenuk, managing director of NPG Energy Capital Management, discuss current issues with the U.S. grain transportation system. With more than 20 years of industry expertise, attendees will hear Zenuk\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s perspective on transportation infrastructure improvements in Panama and the Pacific Northwest and the impacts and opportunities they will bring.<\/span><\/p>\n

At NGP, Zenuk leads the firm\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s efforts in the agribusiness sector to acquire and operate large scale assets in the storage, processing, transportation, and merchandising of agricultural commodities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Zenuk understands how exports and shipments of U.S. grain are going to be affected by the infrastructure developments taking place in Panama and Vancouver. By being aware of changes in the current global market environment, we can ensure a successful future for U.S agricultural producers and agribusinesses, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153said USGC Chairman Dr. Wendell Shauman.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to joining NDP, he served in a variety of roles at Archer Daniels Midland Company including as president of Global Oilseeds, the largest Global Business Unit at ADM, director for Europe and Asia, corporate vice president, and senior vice president for ADM\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s North American & European Oils & Fats division.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, he also served as general manager (Commodity Marketing Group) for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and as marketing manager for the Canadian Wheat Board.<\/span><\/p>\n
