The Year of Competitiveness Continues: USGC Annual Meeting Registration Now Open

What are the new global demand drivers for course grains? What production, policy and competitive challenges will come along with this demand growth? How will U.S. agriculture adapt to meet these opportunities?

The U.S. Grains Council pulled together experts who will dive into these critical subjects as it continues its theme “The Year of Competitiveness: Meeting Global Demand

at its 51st Annual Board of Delegates Meeting July 25-27 in San Francisco, Calif. Registration for the meeting is now open at www.grains.org.

Attendees will hear firsthand how U.S. farmers and agribusinesses plan to meet global demand by growing more with less. Top government officials and industry analysts from around the world will give their perspective on what’s driving international demand. Experts will analyze global food security and how different policies impact global markets.

Council Advisory Teams will exchange updates and discuss Council programs and direction.

While the schedule will challenge your thinking and expand your understanding of global issues, networking opportunities are scheduled to discuss the day’s topics – and to spend time with business associates.

Special events are also sprinkled throughout the week – from a picturesque trip to Napa Valley for The Grains Foundation Wine Adventure to the incredible Teatro ZinZanni European cabaret at the meeting’s closing event along San Francisco’s historic waterfront.

Other adventures include a city tour, a trip to Chinatown and, of course, a trip to San Francisco’s Alcatraz.
