The U.S. Grains Council wishes you a happy World Food Day!
This year’s theme – Family farming: feeding the world, caring for the earth – focuses world attention on the role of family farming in providing food security and nutrition, improving livelihoods, managing natural resources and achieving sustainable development, in particular in rural areas.
Trade enhances food security and brings food from family farms to people around the world, improving their lives. The Council recognizes the benefits of expanded trade to consumers and works in markets around the world to help enhance access for U.S. producers and agribusinesses to global markets.
