The U.S. Grains Council is proud to announce the addition of its newest member, Flint Hills Resources Arthur, LLC.
Flint Hills Resources Arthur, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, is an ethanol plant that began operations in 2008. Acquired in 2013 by Flint Hill Resources, the plant joins USGC membership in addition to Flint Hills Resources five other plant members: Fairbank, Fairmont, Iowa Falls, Menlo and Shell Rock. The facility in Arthur has an annual capacity of 110 million gallons of ethanol along with 330,000 metric tons of distiller’s dried grains with solubles.
Located in the small town of Arthur, Flint Hills Resources Arthur is located in the heart of U.S. corn belt, which allows the facility to easily process 1 million tons (39 million bushels) of corn annually.
