Davis Anderson, U.S. Grains Council past chairman, passed away on June 13, 2014, with his wife and daughter at his side.

Anderson had more than 40 years of experience in the agribusiness industry. After he graduated college he worked for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and then Barlett & Company Grain in Kansas City. Anderson retired from GROWMARK, Inc. in 2010, after 31 years of service to the company. He also served on numerous agricultural boards and committees, including the Council.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, grandchildren, mother and sister.

In lieu of flowers, Anderson requests contributions to the University of Arizona Cancer Center or Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church in Tuscan, Arizona.
