Introduction

A Letter from the U.S. Grains & BioProduct Council

U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council staff in our 10 offices around the world celebrated our 65th anniversary in 2025, continuing the organization’s rich history of developing markets for U.S. corn, sorghum, barley, distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and ethanol. We’re delighted to share some of the high points of the year and the status of the Council’s financials in this report.

Last marketing year saw record exports of U.S. corn and ethanol, showing that The Time Is Now for the U.S. agricultural industry to sustain and expand its success in international marketplaces. Domestically, the latest iteration of Global Ethanol Summit, held in October, drew more than 400 attendees from 40 countries to highlight new applications for biofuels and U.S. ethanol production capacity.

Additionally, you can dive deeper into commodity-specific developments including barley program expansion in Asia, exciting ethanol policy changes creating new market opportunities and expanding sorghum’s reach to customers through initiatives like Export Sorghum.

The Council is expanding our reach with new research, studies and experts focused on highlighting U.S. agriculture’s nutritional advantages to customers in regions from Latin America to Southeast Asia.

Thank you to the Council’s members and staff who make our work possible, and here’s to another successful year in 2026!
