Worth $5 billion, and up eight percent from MY 2020\/2021, Mexico represented 27 percent of total U.S. corn exports in MY 2021\/2022.<\/p>\n<p>China was the second-largest market in 2021\/22, purchasing 14.7 MMT, or 578 million bushels, worth $3.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Japan, Canada and Colombia round out the top five markets for MY 2021\/2022. Japan, the third-largest market, purchased 10.1 MMT, or 399 million bushels. Corn sales to the fourth-largest market, Canada, totaled six MMT, or 238 million bushels.
