Who We Are
Lyndsey Erb serves as the director of industry relations for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS). In this capacity, Erb directs the membership team and is responsible for member servicing, retention, education and growth.
Erb joined the Council in May 2011. Prior to the Council, she served as the assistant director of operations at Mountain West Insurance, LLC in Missoula, Montana.
She is a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University and holds bachelor’s degrees in business finance and sociology.
The Council is a private, non-profit partnership of agribusinesses and producers committed to building and expanding international markets for U.S. feed grains and ethanol. The organization has 10 international offices that oversee programs in more than 50 countries. Support for the Council comes from its producer and agribusiness members and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) through programs authorized in the U.S. farm bill.
