The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is pleased to welcome Conestoga Energy Partners, LLC, as a new member.

Established in 2006 and located in Liberal, Kansas, Conestoga Energy now operates three ethanol plants with a total production capacity of 205 million gallons as well as serving as a leading provider of distiller’s dried grain with solubles (DDGS).

Council Welcomes New Global Strategies Coordinator Carley Esser

In this role, Esser will support the Council's global strategies and trade policy and biotechnology departments in their market engagement and support of the Council’s overseas offices.

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is pleased to welcome Deerfield Ag Services, Inc. as a new member.

Deerfield Ag Services is a family-owned agriculture services business that has been in operation since 1959. Deerfield Ag Services currently operates five locations in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, providing agronomy products and services, grain origination and merchandising as well as grain handling and storage equipment. 

Patricia Esqueda Returns To USGC As Western Mexico Marketing Specialist

Patricia Esqueda returned to the U.S. Grains Council as the Western Mexico Marketing Specialist as of Monday, Dec. 4. 

In this role, Esqueda will promote and market U.S. corn, barley, sorghum and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) to the feed and livestock industry in Western Mexico, in and around Guadalajara. She will also support the Council's ethanol work in Mexico as well as feed and livestock and barley and brewery programs. 

USGC Promotes Wyatt To Manager Of Global Strategies

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has promoted Katy Wyatt to manager of global strategies, effective on Oct. 30, to replace Anne Zaczek, who departed the organization at the end of the month.  

In her new role, Wyatt will assist in managing global strategies programs, including the coordination of the Council's Unified Export Strategy and the organization's Food for Progress program in Tanzania. Wyatt will also provide support to the USGC global programs, trade policy and innovation/sustainability teams.
