Courtney Coe serves as the membership and communications coordinator for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products worldwide. In this capacity, she assists with membership meeting planning and implementation and with a variety of communications tasks including production of Council publications and meeting materials.
Prior to the Council, Coe worked for Pottery Barn as an associate manager. In this capacity, she provided leadership to store teams to help them meet and exceed various goals.
Founded in 1960, the U.S. Grains Council works to promote exports of U.S. grains and related products through a network of 10 overseas offices and 30 in-country representatives. The Council believes exports are vital to global economic development and to U.S. agriculture's profitability. Support for the Council comes from its producer and agribusiness members and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) through programs authorized in the U.S. farm bill.
