Pacific Ethanol owns eight ethanol production facilities, four in the Western states of California, Oregon and Idaho, and four in the Midwestern states of Illinois and Nebraska. The plants have a combined production capacity of 515 million gallons per year, produce over 1 million tons per year of ethanol co-products such as wet and dry distiller grains, wet and dry corn gluten feed, condensed distillers solubles (CDS), corn gluten meal, corn germ, corn oil, distillers yeast and CO2.
Kinergy Marketing LLC, the marketing and trading subsidiary of Pacific Ethanol, sells all ethanol for the Pacific Ethanol plants as well as third parties and today sells over 800 million gallons of ethanol annually. Kinergy provides its customers in the West excellent logistical service, inventory management and reliable supply of ethanol and biodiesel. With the Midwestern plants, Kinergy has direct access to markets in the South and East, and to international markets by way of the Mississippi River system and rail to Gulf and East Coast ports.
POET Ethanol Products handles 2 billion gallons of annual ethanol production from partner facilities located across the Midwest and Ohio Valley. In addition to its ethanol business, it continues to expand its role as a significant supplier of high-grade carbon dioxide across the country.

- Non-Denatured Fuel Ethanol: This product is ASTM D4806 specification ethanol without added denaturant.
- Denatured Fuel Ethanol – CAN/CGSB-3.516: This product meets or exceeds CAN/CGSB-3.516 specifications for type 1 fuel ethanol. This is the standard denatured ethanol product for the Canadian market.

Siouxland Energy Cooperative is owned by 384 farmer members and is a closed cooperative. Siouxland Energy was formed for the purpose of building, owning and operating an ethanol plant near Sioux Center, Iowa. The ethanol produced from corn is sold for blending with gasoline as an octane enhancer and as a fuel. In 2007 Siouxland Energy completed an expansion project that increased production capacity to 60,000,000 gallons annually.

UWGP processes corn into several products, ethanol, DDGS, crude corn oil and A+ pro-yeast (50% protein feed additive that contains 25% spent yeast).
